"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

That's cool. I, myself, was a little miffed at the rather over-the-top reactions of many of the commentators on that journal, and on the Youtube page. They acted like the end of the world had come early. They tend to forget that the creators of MLP were doing us a HUGE favor by developing Derpy/Ditzy as much as they had. And they also don't know what the intend for her in the future, either. So much 'raeg' for just a small change in the ep. I actually like her new voice, although the delivery of her lines could use a lot more work, emotion-wise. And the fact that they have toned down the cross-eyed look somewhat (it's still there, after all, just harder to see from a distance) is a bonus too, as she was starting to look a little ridiculous with her eyes like that all the time. After all, her eyes are normal when she concentrates. But like you and many others, I also found the omission of her name completely unnecessary, as it was mainly her voice-acting people complained about, not her name so much. Oh well, maybe we'll see her as Ditzy-Do again...
We also need to be worried that, if Hasbro/Studio-B get too much hate mail about this, they might just pull the plug and remove her completely from the show. :/
So, that comment of mine was not an attack on you, but the 'feral' part of the Brony community who forget that this is just a cartoon, and not their "Derpy Show". Sorry if it came out that way.
By the way, LOVED that Muffin Mare/Batman flash video you made, with the Batmobile.
