Well that makes sense. So what's the reason why their parents have banned them from seeing each other?
Her parents had banned them from seeing each other because her father doesn't think much of Homer and his family, and even less for Bart, who has a long history of mischief-making and a bad reputation amongst the adults of the town, so he doesn't want his daughter to be hanging around with him.
Unfortunately I do have to agree with the others, the realistically textured bushes look wrong in the cartoon surroundings, they'd be better I think in a flat or maybe shaded green colouring.
Yeah, the bushes were a failed experiment. Back to normal on future pics...
