Artist's Comments
My first original Simpsons character!
This is Mike Shephard, lead-singer of Bart's rock-group "Insane". He is the twin-brother of Michelle and the boyfriend of Alex Whitney (in my Simpsons reality  ). [link]He attended Springfield Elementary in the same grade as Bart Simpson, although in a different class, and shared the same class as Alex Whitney. He later attended high-school and became close friends with Bart, and graduated from University with him a few years later. He works as a mechanic and joined Bart's rock group after their original lead-singer Ralph Wiggum left to pursue a solo career. He is quarter Native-American (Cherokee) on his father's side, and quarter Japanese on his mother's side. He is distantly related to Sherri and Terri through their mother. I've drawn him as a 10-year-old and as a 21-year-old, as I plan to do more pics of him with Bart and his friends in both time-frames. (Michelle's pic to come...) |
