Ahh, schoolyard crushes. The first love is always the most fondly remembered. :)

Becky sighes as her crush, Bart, walks by in the Springfield Elementary School hallway, talking to Milhouse. Friends Melissa and Allison wonder what is distracting her.



It seems that Becky has had an eye on Bart since the start of the series. Their 1st encounter was at Ned Flanders BBQ when he announced the opening of his "Leftorium" store. Bart was shown playing a version of 'tag' with her and another boy, and then later being chased by her.

Their 2nd encounter was during a sleepover at the Simpson's house with Lisa, when she was dared to kiss Bart. She certainly didn't seem to object to it, even if Bart did! :lol:

Their 3rd encounter was when Bart signed her Yearbook at the end of term, along with many other fellow students (including Principal Skinner, if you can believe that). After he signed her book, she clasped it to her chest and ran happily away. ("He writes the way people talk!" :love:)

There were not many more scenes like this later, as Becky and many other supporting characters were pushed into the background, so it's not known whether she still has her crush on Bart.

In my Simpsons universe, she finally got to date Bart when she reached fourth grade (and Bart in sixth), and stayed together for a few months before they broke up. :)

(Left-to-right: Allison Taylor, Wendell Borton, Melissa, Becky, Lewis, Bart Simpson, Milhouse van Houten, Ralph Wiggum. The last girl has never been named, but I have called her Stacy in my Simpsons universe.)



On an unrelated note, I think this is probably my best drawing of Bart since I started this hobby. What do you think?

In my S.V. Bart has the same girlfriends, but he ends with Jessica... Milhouse ends with Samantha, but in the childwood has a story with Greta Wolfcastle and in the age of 15 with Jenny!

In my Simpsons world, Bart goes out with Jessica just one more time in his early teens, but again it doesn't work out and Bart is woken up to the fact that is just a shallow troublemaker, and never goes out with her again.

Never really decided that. Until she changes her attitude towards others, and sees them as more than people to be used for her own ends, I see her as never really being in a steady relationship, always being though of as an 'easy lay' by other boys.

What goes around, comes around,eh? :)
