At the time of drawing this pic, I had completely different ideas of how the kids grew up, and who went out with who. But time passes and new ideas come and go, so now I have a completely new take on how they grew up and their social lives.
As of today, I have Bart paired up with Allison, but they don't get together until Bart's in his late teens, (around 18-20). Before that, he had a reasonably long relationship (for a teen, anyway) with Terri, which was an off-and-on thing that spanned most of his adolescence. In-between these periods, Bart dated quite a number of girls in his time, and Becky, Anya and Janey are some of them, as well as Sherri more than once. (The Twins aren't selfish. ).
Like most teen boys, he was naturally too emotionally immature to just settle on one stable relationship, at least until his later teens, when he did with Terri, and then later Allison.
When I look at pictures with people dancing I normally hear a certain song in my head that the characters are dancing to. When I see this I hear Flo Ridas "Get Low" but with Mike and Becky there in the far left that seems to cancel it out so it's really heard to hear any song to that but mostly I hear Flo Rida. I really like how this came out but it being a school dance I have never seen this kind of room in the school but then again their older and could be attending high school.
Janey would be pretty spacey, but it has been established in canon that she is somewhat boy-crazy, which would put her in a similar category as Jessica and Alex.
As for Allison, she is just rapt that someone likes her for who she is, not just seen as a 'Brain-Queen' like Lisa. She grew up relying on her book-smarts to win friends, even though she is actually a physically-attractive girl, so it surprised her that someone saw past her 'nerd' image and liked her simply as a pretty young woman.
